I was relatively late in discovering this author but soon found myself becoming a fan, having read an earlier book and then completely forgetting. There’s a real magic to her writing style and it seems natural that her current series sees her retelling some of our best loved fairytales albeit with a modern twist. IfContinue reading “Blog Tour – An Enchanted Moment on Ever After Street by Jaimie Admans @be_the_spark @rararesources @BoldwoodBooks #BlogTour #PublicationDay #boldwoodbloggers #BookReview #RespectRomFic #AnEnchantedMomentOnEverAfterStreet”

Blog Tour – A Breath of Fresh Air by Jessica Redland @JessicaRedland @rararesources @BoldwoodBooks #BlogTour #BookReview #RespectRomFic #boldwoodbloggers #PublicationDay #ABreathOfFreshAir
I have waited with bated breath for this book and was thrilled to receive my tour invite and advance reading copy. I’m usually sad when it’s time to stop reading Christmas books, but my January list was packed with gems like this so the transition was painless and well worth the effort. If you’d likeContinue reading “Blog Tour – A Breath of Fresh Air by Jessica Redland @JessicaRedland @rararesources @BoldwoodBooks #BlogTour #BookReview #RespectRomFic #boldwoodbloggers #PublicationDay #ABreathOfFreshAir”
Blog Tour – The Island Cottage by Jane Lovering @janelovering @rararesources @BoldwoodBooks #PublicationDay #BlogTour #BookReview #boldwoodbloggers #RespectRomFic #TheIslandCottage
I make no secret of the fact that I have loved each one of Jane’s books and look forward to each new release. With that comes a potential challenge as I am loathe to either post negative comments or promote a book that I found to be lacklustre. I’m delighted to say that there isContinue reading “Blog Tour – The Island Cottage by Jane Lovering @janelovering @rararesources @BoldwoodBooks #PublicationDay #BlogTour #BookReview #boldwoodbloggers #RespectRomFic #TheIslandCottage”
2023 – A Bookish Year in Review – or how I got to meet so many wonderful people in the space of a year.
After a bumper year with 142 books read, according to my Kindle, I’ve been really busy. Because of work commitments, I took a slight step back and focused on not overwhelming myself. That didn’t go as well as I had hoped, with a huge number of blog posts while working full-time with rather early starts.Continue reading “2023 – A Bookish Year in Review – or how I got to meet so many wonderful people in the space of a year.”
Review – The Library on Love Heart Lane by Christie Barlow @christiejbarlow @0neMoreChapter_ #PublicationDay #BookReview #BookBlogger #RespectRomFic #TheLibraryOnLoveHeartLane
I have found this wonderful series to be totally enchanting and knowing that it is coming to an end is rather bittersweet. Although I’ve only visited Heartcross in books, it certainly feels like a home from home, and I have friends there that I have become very fond of. If you’d like to read aContinue reading “Review – The Library on Love Heart Lane by Christie Barlow @christiejbarlow @0neMoreChapter_ #PublicationDay #BookReview #BookBlogger #RespectRomFic #TheLibraryOnLoveHeartLane”
Review – Christmas at the Chateau by Annabel French @katiegauthor @AvonBooks #ChristmasBook #Review #ChristmasAtTheChateau
My Final Christmas book for 2023 came from Annabel French a pen name of Katie Ginger, and I have been lucky to have been involved in a number of blog tours for her in the past. Her style of writing is really rather special, and when writing as Annabel French, her style is equally engaging.Continue reading “Review – Christmas at the Chateau by Annabel French @katiegauthor @AvonBooks #ChristmasBook #Review #ChristmasAtTheChateau”
Review – Countdown to Christmas by Jo Thomas @jo_thomas01 @penguinrandom #ARCReview #ChristmasBook #CountdownToChristmas
I’ve loved a number of books by Jo Thomas. Not only does she write gorgeous stories with wonderful characters, but she takes her readers on a taste sensation. Always packed full of delicious food, her books even have a few recipes amongst the pages. As this blog is all about escaping into a book, IContinue reading “Review – Countdown to Christmas by Jo Thomas @jo_thomas01 @penguinrandom #ARCReview #ChristmasBook #CountdownToChristmas”
Review – The Christmas Book Club by Sarah Morgan @SarahMorgan_ @HQstories #ARCReview #ChristmasBook #TheChristmasBookClub
In case you haven’t noticed I love reading Christmas books, and this year has yielded a bumper crop of absolutely gorgeous tales. I have several ‘go-to’ authors at this time of year, and Sarah Morgan ranks amongst my favourites. She has a gift with her writing style and always pulled right into the story. IfContinue reading “Review – The Christmas Book Club by Sarah Morgan @SarahMorgan_ @HQstories #ARCReview #ChristmasBook #TheChristmasBookClub”
Review – Snowflakes and Surprises in Tuppenny Bridge by Sharon Booth @sharon_booth1 @Stormbooks_co #ARCReview #PublicationDay #BookBlogger #SnowflakesAndSurprisesInTuppennyBridge
I was fortunate to meet Sharon at the RNA Afternoon Tea in York. I was sitting near her and couldn’t help but be drawn to her as she is a truly lovely person. For my shame, I had to admit that I hadn’t read any of her books but promised to rectify that as soonContinue reading “Review – Snowflakes and Surprises in Tuppenny Bridge by Sharon Booth @sharon_booth1 @Stormbooks_co #ARCReview #PublicationDay #BookBlogger #SnowflakesAndSurprisesInTuppennyBridge”
Blog Blitz – A Winter Wonderland (Little Duck Pond Café book 31) by Rosie Green @rosie_green88 @rararesources #BlogBlitz #BookBlogger #BookReview #LittleDuckPondCafe #AWinterWonderland
Unless you are new to my blog, you’ll be aware that I have read every instalment in this series, although my reviews started later; I’ve actually reviewed 15 on my blog, so this is my 16th! I absolutely love Rosie’s writing and her ability to pack so much into her novellas. This is a wonderfulContinue reading “Blog Blitz – A Winter Wonderland (Little Duck Pond Café book 31) by Rosie Green @rosie_green88 @rararesources #BlogBlitz #BookBlogger #BookReview #LittleDuckPondCafe #AWinterWonderland”
